A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I have three different Mikrotik devices at work at home + 1 at work + 1 in the cloud. The daily load on devices is 8-10 devices in total. Torrents, online movies and other household tasks. Everything works like clockwork. All the problems that I met during the work are connected exclusively with my hands or knowledge-experience. In general, it takes quite a significant amount of time to master RouterOS. But when you master it, it's just a great system on which you can make a huge number of…

Pros
  • ROS L4 + 2 bands for 4500 rub. The price for such a device is just a bomb. Two cases included. Passthrough LAN port. gigabit ports. Looks very nice.
Cons
  • In Mikrotiks, for me, there is only one drawback (or feature) that I can attribute to disadvantages - this is the difficulty of setting up some additional Wishlist. Standard setup takes me 5 minutes. But if something more complicated is required, then you have to dig manuals because you can’t tune in to intuition.

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

The best router, broke through the whole house, which Huawei, Zyxel Viva, Mikrotik hAP could not cope with. The speed for 5g showed about 280 megabits, while the processor load was only 4%. Marvelous. For the first time I saw a speed of 2.4 more than 100 Mbps. You can also manually set the transmitter power to both 2 and 5 GHz, everything is very convenient. Router OS 4 level

Pros
  • Very flexible and easy to configure powerful router (access point)
Cons
  • It would be possible to make a horizontal mount in the form of a stand on a shelf or table

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

For me, the choice of network devices is obvious - Mikrotik. Cisco functionality for a budget price. Set it up and forget it, no lags, stutters or anything like that. Pros below: - The number of settings is out of competition, you can configure everything and even more. The functionality is really impressive, including industrial-grade technologies. - Workmanship is very good - A set of two covers - a round one is installed, a square one is also included. Suitable for any interior. - The size…

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I have been using Mikrotik products for a long time - and there has never been a case when their products did not justify the declared functionality. Pros: - as usual for Mikrotik products - the widest and most flexible functionality at incomparably low prices - work stability Its cons: - fasteners are not very convenient to use - to configure the product, you need at least a qualified, and at most even a user certified by the manufacturer

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Of the five tested firmware, I chose one with the best of the five indicators - the spread of real wifi speed in iperf turned out to be from 90 megabits to 350 megabits / s. Despite the set maximum transmitter power, the coverage area turned out to be no better than on a Chinese router from ali-express. Under the same test conditions, the real wifi speed of ASUS AC68U is 540 Mbit/s. At the corporate forum, the moderator did not miss this message!

Pros
  • A full-fledged RouterOs is a very flexible tool in customization. Good design. POE has indeed proved to be a handy feature given that the ports continue to operate at full speed. Nice technical solution. Doesn't heat up. I haven't seen more than 6% CPU usage. On version 7 of RouterOS, a dynamic change in the processor frequency appeared depending on the load.
Cons
  • Very raw firmware. Bad antennas, especially on 5GHz.

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

The point is excellent, it breaks well in both ranges, there are a lot of settings, it doesn’t hang, but it’s somewhat hemorrhoids to set up, it will be difficult for a non-IT person to figure it out. The quick settings don't work and are confusing. 5Ghz - a maximum of 40.1 Mb / s, 2.4Ghz - 23.9 Mb / s, in normal home use. In iperf, the results are a bit more modest.

Pros
  • Stable operation, good connection, good bandwidth, PoE adapter included, IPv6 support.
Cons
  • SNMP freezes, sometimes it does not give traffic data (possibly crooked hands).

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

1.2A power supply included. I bought a Rexant 14-0320 splitter for 130. and through it I hung a PoE injector with a point and a hAP ac2 router purchased earlier on this power supply. The router and the point feel great, powered by one PSU, and distribute WiFi via CAPsMAN v2 (my router serves as a "controller") I didn’t write about the shortcomings, because. it is rather a nuance that must be considered when buying. Ease of setup, like Ubiquiti, when you plugged it into the network…

Pros
  • dual band Adequate price (I got it for 4tyr. with a little, taking into account bonuses in the store) Powered by PoE, injector included, PoE output for serial connection of another point Flexible settings, in my opinion, it can even work in router mode, but I could be wrong, I didn’t check it myself Quality build Fasteners included
Cons
  • With this point, real seamless roaming, unfortunately, will not work. What CAPsMAN v2 does is switch from one point to another with possible delays of a few seconds.

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Different pros: What can I say. The point is great. Works stably. Set and forget. Some cons: I won't take it anymore. Because the cost is skyrocketing. There are other products on the market worthy of attention and at normal prices. Goodbye Mikrotik!

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

At first, I was too lazy to set it up myself, mess around, delve into it . I entrusted it to a knowledgeable person with a bunch of certificates and a huge halo . the piece of iron steadily disappeared from the radar a groove a week and I put 2 stars. After some time, I decided to take up the issue, since I could not find similar characteristics. A couple of hours of reading literature on the Internet and a miracle happened - the piece of iron quite quickly copes with the assigned tasks and not

Pros
  • It works flawlessly. Connected, configured and forgot about its existence.
Cons
  • The bracket is strange - it would be better without a hole for pairs.

It's not a bad product, but I expect more.

Excellent piece of iron for your money. I do NOT recommend it to the average person for home use. U. P. I gave up. Bought keenetic viva. As a second access point, it was configured in 10 minutes. Now I have the maximum signal level everywhere in my apartment. The regulator on the balcony was connected, which did not cling to the Mikrotik. Its pros: The coverage radius was a pleasant surprise. Powered by poe expands the usability. Quite compact. Different cons: Equipment strictly for IT…

Outstanding functionality. Not for the average user

An affordable access point, the system is ideal for a home network as a standalone system. No additional router is needed if this is the only element for wireless communication. The signal is stable and worth buying. Please note that using this device with anything other than a Mikrotik based network may cause difficulties for the user. In fact, if you're a home user looking for a cheap access point and it's going to be the only device that provides routing, this will work. Using it in…

Bulletproof is reliable but has a steep learning curve.

I have been using Mikrotik products for a few years now. If you're tired of messing around with expensive consumer networking gear, Mikrotik is for you. Mikrotik is used by many ISPs to provide professional networking equipment. Once a Mikrotik device is set up, it lasts almost forever. All Mikrotik devices (routers, access points) come with what Mikrotik calls "Quick Sets" and in many situations a Quick Set will fit your needs. Once your needs exceed the quick setting, you'll need to rummage…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great addition to my home network

I've been using a Mikrotik router (RB750) for years but have always left Wi-Fi for the ISP router that comes with my DSL. After seeing this product on the Mikrotik website I thought it would be good to put Wi-Fi back on my existing RB750 and get some control over it that AT&T doesn't give me on their router. Installation required a little reading of the Mikrotik wiki as I don't use the Windows GUI tools to set up my Mikrotik, but it was there. After setting up a security profile and enabling it

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Good price! in networking products

There may be similar products that are easier for the average home user to set up, but you can't beat the price. It took me a while to figure out the right configuration for my personal application, but once that was done I'm very happy with the performance. Centrally managed access points are much easier than keeping track of IP addresses and separate settings for multiple. Manufacturer and multiple device models/versions. With the CAPsMAN feature, you can use your router or one of these CAPs…

Not strong enough

I bought one of these for testing purposes, hoping to use 2 additional units if my testing of the first one goes well. Step 1: Replace Netgear Nighthawk with device 1 in hotspot mode. Step 2: Extend WiFi to indoor and outdoor areas with 2 additional hotspots. My criterion for success was whether a device could replace my existing Netgear Nighthawk in AP mode without losing the Nighthawk's coverage. Unfortunately, cAP ac cannot meet this requirement. When testing the unit in the same location as
