Great fan, worth the money!

Very cool fan, so quiet I had to turn on SpeedFan to make sure it worked! The temperature also dropped a lot, I have a Corsair Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Liquid processor. Cooler" which only had a 3-pin cooling fan header and was making such loud noises (full RPMs due to the 3-pin connector) that I bought it to exploit its PWM capabilities and swapped out the fans Don't worry about buying 4 pin splitters, this kit includes many extra connectors/splitters/extenders that you don't need Great…

It pays to make your car quieter.

I bought this to replace the fan that was on my standalone H80i water cooler for my CPU. The fans sounded a lot like a vacuum as they started spinning to cool the CPU. It should be loud enough to be very distracting while gaming or even just idling. After installing this fan (there are two of them, now I will buy another one to replace the second one) I can already notice a big difference in the sound. When it picks up speed, it no longer sounds like a clockwork motor. The rubber corners also…

problems with your Noctua; Don't rely on the guarantee!

Contacted Noctua about my new fan and what turned out to be a violation of factory quality control. They replied with apologies that didn't help and certainly didn't solve anything. When I asked them to replace the fan, they didn't answer. So if you have a problem with a Noctua product, don't rely on them to help you or honor their warranty. They're clearly trying to increase sales by offering a long warranty, but it's utterly pointless if they're just ignoring customers who really need a…

Looks? A+ function for computers and accessories

I chose these because of the low static pressure zone for maximum flow in my case (note this! You can see all the specs and claimed features of the different models at read the Noctua website). I have used many computer fans. I always thought they looked too different for my liking, but I gave them a try for this Noctua build. Noise level / Cooling: They have a good noise level compared to the amount of cooling air. This is easy to check from the specifications. Noise Quality: This is not easy…

A great, efficient and quiet replacement for my van

I have a new AirStream trailer and the Dometic fridge has some type of cooling duct with outside access. There's a lower vent door that lets cold air in and a higher vent door that lets hot air out with a fairly noisy fan that kicks on when the cooling fins heat up. On our first outing, the fan noise almost drove my wife and I insane. I added rubber isolation pads to the fan but that only reduced the noise by 40%. After searching some of the AirStream forums, I found that many RV owners are…

Very quiet.: Internal components

I was researching good case fans as I needed some as air intakes for my new PC. Noctua are known for their quiet fans and I can attest to that as I can't hear them at all; Even if I take off the side panels and put my ear to them, I hardly hear anything. The airflow rate on this particular model also seems good, but I'm not an expert on the subject, so I'd suggest researching whether you need a specific amount of airflow to enter (or exit) your computer. Although only $20 each, it's pretty…

Best Buy: Computers and Accessories

Installs two NF-S12A PWM as intake and exhaust fans. These are the ones that are optimized for airflow. Once you set the correct fan profile in the BIOS, they run almost silently and offer excellent airflow. My computer originally came with only an exhaust fan and nothing else. I added an RTX 2080ti and my graphics card was heating up to 80-84C. After installing the Noctua Intake fan, the temperature dropped by 10-12 degrees. Definitely worth buying. The most common complaint I hear about these

Quiet but CAPABLE!

Noctua fans are known to builders as one of the best options for quiet operation. From CPU coolers to CPU fans (static), case fans (airflow) and hybrids in between, Noctua has everything covered. I have used Noctua 120mm, 140mm, 40mm and 92mm fans for various projects. I used 120mm/140mm fans for cases and processors. I've used their 40mm fans for 3D printers and Southbridge chipsets (like the Intel DX58SO motherboard). I use the 92mm on the Odroid Cloudshell 2. In all cases, the fans move a…
