Powerful And Precise Metal-Cutting With Grizzly G0622 Bandsaw, 4 X 6-Inch Review

Very poor quality. I am not even use this bandsaw in a daily basis, just occasionally, motor now has a crack from end to end, bandsaw is not cutting even aluminum, gear box came without grease and gears got damaged, to adjust the tension of the belt is almost impossible as motor supports are very thin. I ordered a gear set and the belts to grizzly directly, and has been around 6 months since then and no spares have been delivered. It is not an expensive product, but it just doesn't work as it…

Saw cuts everything i have thrown at it and it fits very nicely in a small area. Had a couple busted parts in shipping and grizzly sent me new ones right out. Its important to mention you can buy every single piece on this saw from grizzly right down to the decals on it. Awesome.

Pretty good saw. Out of the box the blade makes nice vertical cuts and after some futzing around with the vice, makes nice 45 degree cuts too. Cutting fluid on the cutting area is definitely recommended.Shipping however . is another matter. The final freight delivery was handled by "Expedited Express Delivery Service". When I made the delivery appointment, I was told " . between noon and 5pm". I got a call at work at 11:08am saying "I'm 30-35 minutes away". Rushed home .

I think the saw is a good deal but unfortunately UPS broke the motor, but the manufacturer has been very good about getting a replacement part right out to me. It seems to me that all these band saw's in this class are made by the same company but this one has the nicest paint job. What made this one the best deal was Revain Prime, don't go shopping without it.

Bought this saw >20 years ago. Choose Grizzly because of product support and maybe better fit and finish than most imports. These are a copy of Dayton brand from WWGrainger that cost 8-10 times more. Had to tune a bit when new to get it to cut accurate and not throw blades. After initial setup it has required little maintenance. The saw itself appears solid and worked when I tested it. The legs/stand are another matter. They are stamped sheet metal and nearly impossible to line up with the so-called tool tray. When I finally got the nut started on the too-short machine screw, there was practically NO room to put a wrench on it. Seems like all these little saws are basically the same. Just different paint. It works good for what I use it for. The stand is a little flimsy. It is top heavy. It fell over once and bent up the motor guard. But it cuts ok for small projects.
