Great shoes for beginners!

I usually wear size 12 for women's clothing. I bought 42.5 and it worked great. I originally wanted to choose the 43 because it was comfortable enough to wear if I was walking longer than 5 minutes. I decided to downsize to 42.5 because I heard they stretch. I'm glad I did as I think the fit suits me (very snug but not painful). It's not hardcore by any means, but for a beginner I really like them. I replaced the laces with elastic Quick Lock laces. This makes slipping off the back of the shoeโ€ฆ

Well while it lasted

The shoes were a big improvement over the rental. I really enjoyed their utility and bouldering performance, but they just didn't last long. My routine is 2 times a week for 2 hours per session. The rubber almost completely detached from the shoe in just 4 months of use. The rubber doesn't warn, it just completely peeled off around the fingers and back along the crotch seam and healed. I need a new pair of shoes, but I hate spending another $90 on shows that don't last.

The effect only disappeared after 2 months of use!

I've been wearing shoes for 2 months, my routine is bouldering 3 times a week. After that short time, I suddenly realized that the front of the show was simply worn and had made a hole. This hole has grown into a bigger hole and now I can't use them because they lose their grip when I hook or even smudge. For the value of the shoes I expected a lot more for the money. This is really VERY disappointing.

Not suitable for large feet no larger than 14

I wear men's street shoes US 15. I was very happy to find them because it is difficult to find climbing shoes in large sizes. I've heard that you need to downsize your climbing shoes, but since this is my first pair I downsized a half size and ordered a 14.5. I had to send back both pairs because they sent me 13.5 and not 14.5 both times. If you look at the official La Sportiva store, they don't even sell 15s. It also turned out that there was too much glue on the sides of the boot. It probably

How do I find my shoe size?

So I knew from reading a lot of online reviews that tarantulas are the perfect climbing shoes. I have some experience of indoor bouldering and top rope climbing, but I've never been hit by a bullet or bought my own pair. Regarding the shape of my feet, I would say that I have a slightly thin foot, but otherwise everything is fine. I order exactly my size, I use the sole of the foot at the end of the day (so that the foot swells). I came up with a height of 42.8 cm, so I rounded up to 42.5 cm. I

Almost perfect fit, coarse loops on the heel, turning into a boot

I started bouldering about a month before buying these shoes; before that he wore skates. It was a definite improvement. Deducted 1 star for the second issue below. The sizing was almost perfect but the shoes have a little more room for my toes. I can only stress the importance of trying on shoes before you buy them as you may not have the same issues as me. Fantastic comfort, suitable for beginners with wide feet.

My first pair so I'll be brief as I'm probably not the best person to do thorough analysis. I have wide legs. As. WIDE. and the whole time i was demonstrating different shoes i was afraid i would get crushed in such a damn tight pair because climbing shoes are not supposed to have room for toes. Well, this pair got me rid of all those worries. I've tried a number of high end pairs from Scapra and there's nothing wrong with that, but these were the first and pretty much the only pair I couldโ€ฆ

TLDR: Watch the video, do your research, expect them to stretch/break and buy them in person from the experts. Google. What is the best brand, the best model, the best value for money? blah blah. Based on reviews from popular climbing websites and vlogs, I found that tarantulas and tarantulas are among the best for beginners. I also chose them because as far as I could tell they were at least a little low, which would be helpful as I progress and become an advanced climber. For reference, Iโ€ฆ
