replacing was straight forward, with a phillip screw driver and channel lock pliers.

this item looks like the original part. in order to keep pricing down, many parts are plastic today. the pump is simply an tiny magnetic armateur with an impeller on the end. will know more about quality with time.

Not a 1 to 1 OEM fit for my machine

In general the part worked. It was not a one to one match with the original part. The included bracket wasn't long enough to fit the mount but I used the bracket from the original pump to handle that. The discharge hose connection is on the opposite side of the original but I was able to move the hose with a little effort.
