Travel flexibility in my rating

I've been using this little monitor sporadically for a few months now. I've used it while traveling, I've used it to quickly act as a second monitor while working from home, and more. Simply put, picture quality is pretty good at 60kHz, colors are vibrant, brightness is even, etc. True 1080P as far as I can tell. The screen is very sharp at 1080p and I believe it's absolutely on par with, if not better than, the quality you'll find in most tablets etc. There are some limitations to the functionality of this monitor when used with mobile devices, especially cell phones. It only acts as an independent big screen monitor for your phone if you have a phone that supports such things. I have a newer Samsung and while it works fine it looks stretched out. I don't know who is to blame for this, but I've tried at least 15 different methods and I can't seem to fix this particular issue. When I just use it for screen mirroring everything is fine and the weird stretched resolution goes away. And yes, I checked every possible menu option on the monitor myself, as well as the limited options I have on my Samsung phone. Using this monitor as a second touchscreen monitor is amazing. I have used this monitor with complete success using just a USB-C data cable straight from the USB-C port on my Microsoft Surface Pro 7 as well as a 3 year old Lenovo Yoga laptop with Thunderbolt 3. Unless you're using this directly with a fully functional laptop USB-C port, you can use a mini-HDMI cable for video and optionally a USB-C to USB-A cable and connect it to your laptop or desktop computer for touchscreen operation. It works great on both Windows PC and Linux PC. While I know this is intended to be a very portable monitor, it has a very light weight and plasticky feel. But now, having used it quite a bit, I don't see it as a huge complaint. Finally, my biggest complaint is that all of the ports are on the lower left side of the monitor. This means you'll have at least two, and possibly three, cables sticking out of the side of the monitor with little chance of hiding them or using them effectively. Personally, I'd love to see all of that detail through the notch on the back of this monitor, but it's hard to complain given how portable it is in its current state. Very versatile and highly recommended!
