Video surveillance sobbing or how to fall in love with a Chinese?

Over the weekend, I bought two cameras of the same price and functionality in one store - compact wi-fi cameras with a circular view with 1080p resolution. One camera from TP-Link, I wrote about it yesterday, the other is this one. Despite the similarity of the characteristics, the emotions from using the devices are different. :) 1. Soft. As mentioned earlier, the first thing that attracts attention is the software. And if there were no problems with the TP-Link Tapo C200, at all, then with this sample without a bottle, as they say, you canโ€™t figure it out. It is best to watch the video instruction on YouTube - this is a masterpiece! First you need to install an application called MiHome and weighs 254 Mb against 59.41 Mb Tapo camera. I understand that different manufacturers have different product promotion policies, but the need to lose a quarter of a gigabyte on a device is depressing, especially when there are not many of them. Then you need to find the camera, then press the button for three seconds, then show the camera the QR code that appeared in the application, and only after that you will get access to the device and video from it.2. Energy supply. Xiaomi does not bother like TP-Link and does not indulge the user with a solution that works out of the box. Only the camera and, drumroll, micro-USB cable are included in the kit. Dot. Where is the power supply, you ask? Here I asked the same question. He is not. Of course, I understand that the power supply from the TP-Link camera will only work with this camera and this is more of a minus than a plus, but I would not refuse to have an extra USB power supply at all. They are always missing. And in general - there was a feeling that I was deceived - I paid the same money, but received a different package. Until the last moment, I cherished the hope in my heart that after all the torment with this Chinese craft of Shanghai children, I would have happiness in the form of a clear, high-quality 1080p image. Alas! The soap opera is slightly better than 320*240. That is, in fact, the same as the TP-Link Tapo C200. Sadness. Absolutely nothing pleased - both cameras can turn on by movement, the night IR illumination is equally miserable, both can turn their heads, both can also hang on the wall. Summary: two externally and internally similar devices with picture quality that leaves much to be desired, suitable only as an inexpensive radio nanny, but at the same time there is an order of magnitude more fuss with this sample. Nevertheless, if there is nothing more to take, but you want to look after cats or children, you can take it, but taking into account all the above features. PS: In a few weeks of communication with outwardly similar devices, their colossal difference became finally clear. I inserted 64 GB SD cards into this camera and into the Tapo C200 camera. The card, by the way, is inserted under the lens in the uppermost position for both cameras. I set up a recording schedule and, it would seem, you can rejoice, but! BUT! In this camera, you can watch only 8 seconds from the recorded fragment, and if you want the rest, buy cloud storage and watch the videos in full! But there is 64 GB, you ask - so I also ask the manufacturer - why do I need to buy a cloud if I have local storage? In my opinion, this is a fat minus in addition to other minuses.
