Review on Progressive GT 3300 Gadget Scrapers Dishwashing by Edgar Gomez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Love my scrapers - no smelly sponges!

Pot scrapers are an indispensable tool in a hygienically well equipped kitchen. This is the most effective way to remove dirt from dishes and utensils. When you're done, simply rinse them and pop them in the dishwasher to sanitize! I really hate those scouring pads that stick to foods that I can never fully rinse and end up dirty and smelly. These scrapers are a solid, non-absorbent material that gets the job done without adding extra stress to the process. That's why I also love SOS Tuffy and other non-absorbent cleaners. They never clog with the dirt I just brushed off another surface. I know people whose whole kitchen stinks because of their nasty scouring pads, which are a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. Scrapers never do - I have a pretty decent kitchen and not a single sponge! I have a tea towel that I microwave every night (sponges don't take cooking well) and with my tuffies and pan scrapers I have everything I need. No smelly kitchen! These specialty scrapers are great but I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because there is another brand with a more efficient scraper shape. The Lodge pan scrapers get my highest praise for having the best contour to conform to the shape of each pan and scrape away the last of the dirt. They are still very good though and I have a large stash of both - I use different ones for different jobs. I like the SOS Tuffy sponge for the same reasons. All do not absorb moisture and are dishwasher safe. I recommend dish scrapers for a quick, easy, thorough clean. Once you use them you will never go back.
