I couldn't get this to work properly. So far I've tried this with 3 different foam soaps, and. If I pour in a little more water than is needed to cover the bottom (much less than the line indicates), plus a small amount of soap, the suds become runny and runny. If I use the same amount of water and lots of soap, then the lather is thicker, but it's more of a lightly lathering soap than real lather, and I end up using more soap than if I just rubbed it between my hands, so it's quite a bit wasteful. So it drips a little. It seems to have worked well for everyone who reviewed it so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or I have 3 soaps that don't work for this. .Plus, it's messier than just soaping your hands. A portion of the foam is trapped between a cap that can slide up and down the rod and a portion of the propellant that is attached to the end of the rod. I can get some of this and still use it, but it's kind of a nuisance and it's hard to get all of it, so there's a bit more waste when I rinse it off to clean it -- and sometimes watery suds drip onto mine Counter while I'm Try to get as much as possible (a wet hand with soap, a dry hand holds the stick, the third hand keeps the lid off the other part). I think the issues I'm having with it have more to do with the overall concept than with this particular item.
