Quality cotton socks are hard to find these days. As a golfer who runs around the course, I need socks that have a smooth material on the inside, are thin (you can use 2 layers, which is best for walking) and are very absorbent. The cotton "sports socks" that I had were mostly made of coarse material on the inside. Many of them are synthetic and don't breathe well.
