I ordered it in size XXL, I usually wear a size 22 top and it fits perfectly. It wasn't too crowded when I sat down and the stuff wasn't too hot on a 95 degree day at the beach. It was hot enough at 95 but I didn't feel like this blanket at least added warmth. When I got it it looked pretty bad. When I took it out of the box it was incredibly crumpled, I mean crumpled to an incredible size. I figured if it was crumpled that badly when shipped it would always crumple when packed in a holdall. (Seems like I just can't pack a normal volume suitcase or bag lol). I washed it and line dried it because I didn't want it to shrink and it didn't. To my surprise, it dried without wrinkles. I folded it up and packed it into a (as usual) repacked holdall for the trip, where it sat for several days. To my surprise, it had almost no creases when I took it out of the box. I have no idea why these cloaks crease so badly during handling and shipping, or why they are shipped in such a sorry state, but I can tell. no more after washing. So if you take it out of your pocket I would say try it and wash it. How it will look when you receive it is no indication of how it will look or perform after you have washed away any creases. An iron is also not required, the problem is solved by simply washing and drying. Once you've done that, you've got a fairly flattering light, yet full coverage.
