The first thing I did when installing the item was to get rid of the suction cups. I have some waterproof glue left over from the project. I attached two thin planks of wood (about the size of popsicle sticks) to my tile by securing them under the sides of the tray with double-sided tape. The wood held the plastic shell in place for 48 hours while the glue dried. Then I removed the tree. If I later decide to remove the plastic tray, I can do so along with the rest of the glue without damaging the tile. Seems to fit in a regular shampoo bottle with no problem.
