I was pleasantly surprised by this facial soap! I'm in my late 30's and have struggled with cystic/hormonal acne, rosacea and oily sensitive skin for a LONG time. Not an easy combination to find a cleaner. I found this through an internet search, saw the amazing reviews (which I cynically assumed were inflated by the manufacturer) and decided to order it because it was easier for me to return it if it didn't work. THAT WAS COOL! It washes away my makeup (Jane Iredale: foundation, BB cream, powder and mascara). I rarely have to wash my face twice (only if I apply powder several times a day). It reduces fat but does not dry out the face. My redness has decreased significantly and my face does not burn at all from the application. The scent is pleasant and soft, does not linger after rinsing. Previously I have used: Cetaphil, Purpose, Philosophy, Mario Badescu, Clinique, Dove, Neutrogena and many dermatological products. . . this one is - undeniably - my favorite and I will be using it forever!
