Review on Simplife Luxury Microfiber Drying Absorbent by Beth Wagner

Bought two of these gray towels. They arrived very quickly and the transaction was as smooth as the best of them through Revain. If color is important to you, unfortunately they are NOT grey. They're dark blue with a distinct purple hue (they're not a color in the gray family, so no matter how creative you are with color description, they're definitely purple-blue). I wanted to use these on my couches as quick animal blankets. While they would be great for this purpose, they don't even come close to my gray living room. I have to get them off the couches when company comes and to be honest I can do it just as easily as with what I'm using now. I wanted something that would complement my decor and not have to get off the couch. I'm really disappointed with that as anything from the gray family would suit me very well but blue just doesn't fit. They're not expensive enough to survive the hassle of returning them, but expensive enough to be disappointing as the seller obviously listed the wrong color. Most likely, they will take on the tasks of drying dog towels. Disappointing. Otherwise I would give the product five stars if the color was any shade of grey/grey and could be used as intended. I have attached images to illustrate the actual color of the product shipped to me. The first image shows the color next to gray furniture with cream added to further illustrate the color. The second image shows a towel with a true 18% gray card (so the seller cannot argue that monitor colors affect color representation in photographs or monitors; I work on a color calibrated monitor and use a gray card to ensure this is assured color fidelity on photos). As you can see these towels are definitely blue with a strong purple hue and despite the two different lighting situations in each of the photos provided you can clearly see that the towels are each blue. If color isn't an issue these are a good size and make a great sofa cushion cover as they don't hang over the front of the sofa, just reaching the bottom of the cushion. I think they would make a good microfiber towel as the size is large. The weight and thickness are on par with any other microfiber towel I've used. SELLER'S NOTE: You may want to change the description of this product to clarify that these towels are blue. I'm sure I'm not the only buyer who had problems with this. If I were buying them for use in a gray bathroom I would be equally disappointed in your description of the color and its inaccuracy.
