I love this product. If you purchase for a silverado 02-06 this will mount perfectly on the fuse box over the little hump. I found that the ease of use with this was incredible. You need to understand the very basics of wiring to use this and that's about it. The universal mounting plates made mounting very easy. I purchased this to control the aftermarket lights (light bar and ditch lights) on my 4Runner. Originally I was going to use a separate fuse block, custom switches, and relays, but this kit is complete with everything needed, much cleaner of an install, and at a price of about $135. I am giving this product two starts based on the troubles I am having with it but am hoping hit is just a faulty unit and if I receive one that works its a 5-star out of the park homerun all day!My issue is that the leads that my accessories hook up to have power all the time therefore it is draining my battery. I have the trigger wire hooked up to a key-on circuit so it should kill power with the key off. No matter if the button for the accessory is on or off it stays on all the time.

I love everything about this product other than the auto dim feature. The auto dim has a mind of its own. If flickers every now and then trying to get the right brightness. I wish It had a button to control the brightness. Other than that a great product!

Jeep Wrangler JLMounted the electronic control box in the engine compartment above the fuse box. Then I ran the wire for the switch panel inside the window pillar to the inside and mounted the switch panel above the rear view mirror inside the Jeep. Nice location for easy access to the switch panel. Its in view but out of the way an easy access by the driver or passenger. Great price during Black Friday sale $128. Upon receiving the unit I immediately installed that same night following all wiring protocols. Only had 2 fans connected one that pulls 11.6a and one that pulls 16.4a and they were both on separate 20a fuses. Went on a 2 mile drive and upon returning home both fuses had blow. Unit was still lit up as if everything was working properly but unfortunately caused me to overheat my truck.

I bought all of the separate parts to do this, then found a single product in one box. Very easy to install the device, but tough to find the best location and route the wires. Not enough label buttons like scene lights. Only one, but I have separate lights on each side. Would like to be able to switch the entire box on and off from the main panel instead of having to wire through the ignition switch.

I’ll start by saying I am mechanically and electronically inclined.It was easy to wire, I fabricated a mounting plate and mounted it by the master brake cylinder on my Tacoma. I had to buy a different add a fuse and use that instead as I have the low pro fuses. Been through a water crossing and a rain storm and nothing has shorted. So far it’s working fine.

It claims to have a momentary switch function. It does NOT. Do not be fooled by the words used. In no way does this unit work as a momentary switch in any way.I would not recommend this item if you want or need a true momentary switch.

What a great concept. It makes adding lighting and accessories simple and clean. I have been around vehicles for about 55 years, doing add on's and I always dreaded having to go through firewalls several times. With this, one cable to the inside and done forever. I just need to find more goodies to add to my truck now!

It was an easy install! Now installing lights are easy as ever. I would tell anyone that wants to install aux items to buy this!

I chose to use the brackets as template and drilled holes mount without visible bracket. Both the face plate and main unit are quite heavy for there sizes. They use cheap heavy potting material that makes the main connection body several pounds.The dash face place is also quite heavy but solid metal frame. The switch labels are stick on to outside face, I’m guessing they will ware in time or start to peel the corners up. But you get what you pay for and everything seems to be built well. I have

I can't speak for durability yet as I just got it, but as far as simplicity and ease of use goes, this thing is awesome! A lot of value for your money also.

Great east to use and install product eliminates all the wire bundle mess and consolidates wire mess to seamless streamline unit

I used mine to hook up light bar, ditch lights, overhead lights and chase lights. which leaves me four switches left for future mods. mine installed really easy, took me under an hour. I love that you only have to run one cable/wire into the cab vs running one for every new switch. So far this has been an amazing product and a fraction of what you pay for similar units. will update after a year of use.

The kit itself is simple to install; however, you will need a longer set of wires in one way or another. I have a Jeep Wrangler and the cable that goes from the control box to the switch panel is not long enough. If I’d have run the panel Uber the hood on the driver side, to make the control cable long enough, I’d have to get a new power cable as the supplied cable is not long enough. I installed the control box under the hood close to the battery, and now I am not able to put the switch panel…

Works great easy install. I wish you could program buttons to be momentary and have the ability to push more than one button at the same time but it works good

Great value and so far it’s worked great, I don’t have all the switches filled yet, so can’t comment on the longevity of all the buttons - only thing I wished that the On/Off button would allow you to turn the controller on when the vehicle is off

To me it is worth the price. Easy to install. Looks good on the dash. Fuse panel mounted under the hood makes for easy installation of accessories.
