Jeep Wrangler JLMounted the electronic control box in the engine compartment above the fuse box. Then I ran the wire for the switch panel inside the window pillar to the inside and mounted the switch panel above the rear view mirror inside the Jeep. Nice location for easy access to the switch panel. Its in view but out of the way an easy access by the driver or passenger. Great price during Black Friday sale $128. So far I'm using 4 of the switches, 8 Rock lights, 2 Auxbeam 5" Pillar Light, Halo daytime running lights, and a Front light bar. The control panel under the hood make it really easy and convenient to add powered accessories to your vehicle without having to run wires inside you Jeep every time, just connect to the control panel under the hood. Installation is easy but it'll take you the longest to decide where your going to mount the electronic switch panel under the hood and then decide where you want to mount the 8 gang panel that goes inside your Jeep, big decisions for sure.My Jeep does have the 4 factory Auxiliary switches but I use them for constant power even when the Jeep is powered off, like for my ARB on-board air compressor and my ARB refrigerator located in the back of the Jeep so those devices will stay power 24/7 unless I turn the factory Auxiliary switch off. The Auxbeam switch panel is wired so it powers off everything tied to it if the Jeep key is shut off. You can still run the Auxbeam panel if you turn the power to ACC on the Jeep so the Jeep doesn't actually have to be running to use them but the key has to be in ACC or engine Run mode that way you don't kill your battery if you leave the control panel on it'll turn off everything when you turn the key off.Great device hope you catch it on sale when you need one other wise they run around $190.Excellent product if you are needing Auxiliary switches for your vehicle to supplement the onbaord factory switch or just need more switches for your accessories. Great buy on my part!
