The new thinner applicator is an improvement; same great deodorant
This is a new format for this product - the container is thinner and easier to use. The previous container had one major problem: due to the wide width of the rim of the deodorant that comes in contact with your armpit, the rim inevitably didn't stay straight after a few initial uses, making it difficult to apply the deodorant evenly. The thinner width seems to have solved this problem. I've been using this product for decades as it doesn't irritate my armpits or itch like many other deodorants and the subtle and masculine scent is very pleasant on my nose.
