Great water bottle. It is my everyday bottle. I love it. It is sturdy. In fact, this is a replacement for one I lost in rocks at the beach. Someone found my old one and left it out for my. It had clearly taken a swim in the ocean and had a beating, but it was still leakproof and tough. I easily put it in the top rack of my dishwasher and voila it is good to go!

It’s designed good, although I find the bottle to scuff or get damaged easily, but that’s the point of owning one of these anyways.The lid feels somewhat cheap compared to the bottle, and it lacks a gasket/o-ring as it relies on you screwing the cap on tightly to prevent leaks. It’s not bad, but it’s not terrible either.You also need to offgas the bottle when you receive it, as it has that fresh plastic smell that has a sour chemical smell to it. I’ve had Nalgene bottles for forever, used for camping and long hikes. Personally, I prefer bottles with drinking tops and straws, but used ours to bring additional potable water. Fast forward a decade. Nalgene is popular with teens, and mine wanted one for school and sports. He has stickers on it, so it holds them well. It’s the same bottle we’ve had for many years. How could anyone possibly complain about these classic water bottles? I've had a couple for over a decade and although scratched and beaten, they work perfectly.The only reason I even bought a new one is I ruined a cap and it was, sadly, cheaper to buy a whole bottle (new color) than just a cap by itself. And a magnificent new color it is, I might add.

I drink tea so it really needs to be washed well. Harder to do but needs a bottle brush. I use a toilet cleaner brush as it is sturdy enough to get in there and clean tea residue. Of course I don’t use it in the toilet

I was needing to increase my water intake by getting this bottle. It made it easy to increase my water intake from nearly zero to a gallon a day.

Every time I try a new bottle, I always end up ditching it and going back to this nalgene. Easy to clean, durable, size is great.

This isn't my first Nalgene rodeo, and I'd encourage anybody on the fence to just buy one. They're BPA free, they hold plenty of water, they're relatively light-weight, and they're very durable.
