Not comparable to OEM AC Delco

A little pricey but you get what you pay for. I just replaced this bracket with a new one after 250,000 miles on the old one. Both were made in Canada and I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Helps absorb transmission vibration for a comfortable ride
Cons
  • So far so good

Best of the best: Transmission Mount

This is quite simply the best transmission mount you can get for this vehicle. The non-original ones are garbage. Nothing compares to original equipment. If you don't want unwanted vibrations then this is the way to go for this car.

Pros
  • GM recommended replacement part for your vehicle's original factory component
Cons
  • Modernity

Excellent quality. Made in Canada

This part feels heavy and solid, just like the original. I'm sure it will last for many years. The quality is excellent compared to the cheaper mounts. That's why I chose this one and not the cheaper one. So if you're planning on storing your cars for a long period of time this is the way to go, although it's a little more expensive but you get what you pay for and in this case it's quality.

Pros
  • Designed to work with surrounding components
Cons
  • Socket required

Worth the extra money

I've used cheap Chinese parts almost exclusively to keep my '97 Blazer running and so far they've worked great until it was time to replace a worn transmission mount. I tried 3 cheap ones and I think they were all made in the same factory. They are all the wrong hardness, the rubber isolator felt like hard plastic and caused excessive vibration, the metal part was so thin and cheaply cast that one of them ripped and cut in multiple places just as it was tightened to spec. This is a genuine…

Pros
  • Offers GM quality, reliability and durability
Cons
  • Legacy model
