I'm building a new table and have a lot of cables I can't handle with a standard 2ft grommet so I found this despite the metal is good and it is well done. I found 2 pins on my lid were gone, sent the first one back for a new one and on the next one I only got one pin which for the number of times it will ever open maybe a few times every few For years I thought it was ok, after paying about $20 I wish it was actually fully functional.

I used it on the back of a built in desk to route computer cables. The worst part was cutting a hole in the table but it all worked out.

The grommet allowed us to really clean up our podcast studio and give it a professional look. The cables are routed under the table and no longer run over the table top. Easy to install, lightweight, durable aluminum construction. Excellent value for money and quality.

These eyelets are beautifully designed and look very nice. I ended up sending the product back because I chose a smaller hole when I was making my own desks for my home office. I wasn't a fan of expecting my cables to go into the opening of these boxes nice, flat, and side-by-side either. I was also concerned after opening the product that it was not possible to secure the hub cap in the hole, but I found that most hub caps also do not secure once inserted into the hole.
