Unreliable Communicator for Outdoors

After trying this product, I was left disappointed by its poor transmission range even in open fields. The radio would frequently cut out in the middle of conversations, causing frustration among my team. Although it has a durable exterior, it fails to deliver solid performance, which is expected from electronics in today's world.

This antenna was a perfect match for my Humminbird VHF 55S Handheld Marine Handheld.

This antenna was a perfect match for my Humminbird VHF 55S portable marine radio. Humminbird has discontinued this radio and has not offered a replacement antenna. This antenna transmits in the maritime band and the reception was much better than the original. This, along with the price, makes it a great buy.
