I tried (MY) konjac sponge, cellulose sponge (Appearus) and soft sponge (Buf-Puf). These cellulose sponges are in between the other two in terms of softness and porosity (bacterial content). I prefer konjac but some may find it too gentle and not exfoliating enough. Buf-Puf is too rude to mention. My main issue with cellulose sponges has been the chemical smell. I ignored it, thinking it would eventually go away, but then the smell stayed on my face! Otherwise I would give them a higher rating…

I would love these if they didn't smell awful. Once I wet them the activation worked, but when I washed them there was this overwhelming smell. I think every chemical creates this smell. I would love her if it wasn't for that. I'm wondering if I can return them if I've used two? The smell is just bad where it stays with you after rinsing. So I can't use it. Sad. I will keep looking for a daily disposable facial sponge!

I started using a sponge like this by accident (you know how it works) and decided I liked it so much I bought it wanted to buy and move on. Found it and ordered it twice. I think they have a lot of value which is good for me because it means I will actually throw them out and replace them regularly! Plus, with my regular cleanser, they exfoliate enough to be perfect on a daily basis. I also use them to wash off face masks and they do a great job. Definitely recommend at least trying them out…

I've been using them for years but this time I bought another brand and I don't like the texture. The board is stiff even when wet. It doesn't absorb liquid like others. And... when I used it to remove my makeup, did the mascara get dirty in any way? Sponge. No matter what soap or cosmetic I remove the sponge, it still holds the stain. I will buy another brand next time.

These sponges are perfect. I've used them to wash up in the shower or in the sink after I've washed off my makeup. My son actually loves them too. He's a teenager with acne, so he washes his face a few times a day to wash away the sebum. These sponges are the perfect size. After using it a bit, I leave the old one on for a couple of weeks and use it to quickly flush my sink to keep it clean.
