MADE IN THE USA! about driving, fog and headlights

My goal was to become more visible and it was the right choice. I also installed some hidden lights and there is a big difference between them. LED is the only way to ensure visibility. The light is bright and installation was as easy as it used to be. I love that damn wiring harness. It's simple and super plug and play. you don't grow anything You want the best, go BAJA, you want cheap, go to China lol.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Very bright; short wires to the headlights

Very bright. I was going to mount them in the same place as my last headlights on the roll bars, but the wires from the headlights to the harness are short, about 18 inches, so the plug of the was exposed to weather. They use automotive style sealed plugs but on a motorbike in the rain at 60+mph I don't think they stay sealed for long. I bought a different light mount for my bike instead so the plugs can be mounted under the body.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Perfect size for lighting fixtures and accessories

I've been using these on my plane (yes, plane) as identification lights for about a year. I love her. They are compact and very bright. They do not get very hot and draw minimal system power. I used my own wiring, not the factory harness (too short anyway). The quality is excellent. After a year of beetle trapping and outdoors, they don't wear out at all. I've seen some of the 'other' brands where the lenses turn yellow after exposure to the elements, but not this one. I have no complaints…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good in tight spaces

A pair of Baja Designs S2 Sports fits nicely in the space between the hidden winch mount and the upper bumper of a 2nd generation Toyota Tacoma. Pretty easy install as they don't draw enough current to need a relay. Parts for making my own harness connector were also included, so I didn't use the supplied power harness or switch. Instead, I simply switched power from the winch's wireless receiver switch to another switch that I inserted into an empty slot to control the lights. The brightness…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

A lot of money for what you get, cheap Chinese lanterns will beat them.

They might be high quality, they might hold up well, but they don't work well. For what I spent on them, I expected at least 2x more? They are the equivalent of a $35 set of porcelain lamps. maybe worse? I had a new front bumper with holes for these headlights so I had to buy them. They replaced some hard drives I had in my old bumper. Hard drives absolutely dominate these lights in terms of power delivery, it's not even close. but the price is not too different. Are they so bad that my…
