Bean Products Standard Organic Pillow Review

Really cool pillow! I spent hours browsing Revain and various stores. I bet on kapok it was a good choice. I had never heard of him before, I watched some videos on You Tube and decided to give it a try. Thank goodness, because the choice in the world of pillows is very limited. Foam and poly exhaust, plus poly goes flat. Down is super cruel and miserable feathers. So glad to find it! The bottom end is soft like poly but has a little more support. We love these pillows, but they're expensive. In my experience after 6 months they are not as strong as new. They are said to regain their original shape and fluffiness if you put them in the dryer for 20 minutes. yes, they get fluffy again, but after one night they lose their shape again. I like the fact that this is a natural product and contains NO VOCs (chemicals/odours). I have MCS. I looked for kapok before ordering and he said it was sustainably sourced which is important to me. Kapok is a silky fiber made from the seeds of the kapok tree. I hope it's really sustainable. This pillow is very firm, even stiff. I could only lie on it for 10-15 minutes before it hurt. I love supporting my organic products business. Unfortunately, this purchase was not satisfactory. The pillow itself is good although for this price it could have used more kapok filling, the description says it is "overstuffed". If needed, you can buy more kapok from Bean, $19 for the smallest size. In my experience, it squeezes pretty flat.
