The weather has finally changed and I've opened up my electric blanket. Well, it's a bad sign when the controls don't match. since my return window is closed in october, one side works and the other doesn't, need to buy a new blanket.

I have had several electric blankets and this is the worst of them all. The heat was never consistent and now it stopped working after the return option ended. I cannot recommend this duvet or brand. I suspect a serious problem in the control units.

Warm at last! I've had the same electric blanket (sunbeam) for about 5 years and it NEVER got hot quickly and never got very hot. My room is in the basement and it never gets very warm so I was VERY upset. This blanket is as warm as a soft stuffed animal and since I'm single it keeps me warm in my bed all by myself! I'm reviewing my rating for this product after using it for about 8 weeks. The duvet is soft and comfortable. It was nice and warm initially on level 5 and stayed warm for most of the night, 7 or 8 hours. Now I have to turn the dial to the maximum value of 10 to get more heat.
