I bought this as a comforter and it is beautiful. Glad I didn't buy it as a blanket. It's very thin/light. I bought this in the fall and it doesn't seem to matter if I throw it over my other duvets or not - I don't notice a difference if it's cold or warm with or without. Maybe it's a good choice for a duvet in July and August, but in winter it's purely for decoration.

We replaced our old fleece/sherpa blankets and tried these first. It's just the right weight, providing just enough warmth and comfort without being too heavy. My biggest disappointment is that the colors aren't as vivid and the design is almost as clear as shown in the catalogue. The binding of the thread already decreases after normal use. I ordered for design/color. Not happy with this part. but i love comfort and warmth.

Full Disclosure --- I bought this blanket to cover my sofa and add some color to my room. The color of this blanket is spot on. Not too bright, but not too boring either. It adds a southwest touch to my Arizona home. It seems quite thin so I can't comment on how warm it is. I didn't wash or dry it before putting it on the sofa, so it may shed a little after washing and drying. I love how I use it. I find the price a bit high for the quality.

I threw this blanket over the guest bed to match the western theme I am making. I liked the orange and blue color as there are a lot of orange and blue tones in the room. I ordered a full size and it fits the double bed perfectly. However, I will say that it's definitely not as bright or sharp as the picture of the display makes it out to be.
