The future is today!

"blues purists" dammit, get back up the skirt with your prickly old 78s. Eric can play with the best of them. you are one of the best Eric is the future of modern blues. The last CD is more aggressive than the previous 2 offerings. A bit harsh in places, but present with "blues" tones. This CD is highly recommended.

  • There's something there

Incendiary Blues for Eau de Parfum

Four stars for the acoustic game. I would give 5 stars if everything was acoustic. The disc is good, the man knows how to play.

Sardinas: The World's Best Blues Rocker

It's gratifying to know that there's an artist assiduously staying true to the blues traditions, and not only. Jazz has Charlie Parker, rock has the Beatles, and blues has Eric Sardinas. It never stops growing, getting better and stronger with incredible white-hot lines that make the devil sing and the angels blush, moving from cool, sensual ballads to hilarious melodies. I vouch for this: the great art of American blues will never die, because as long as they try, they will never be better…

Good for the third album "jinx "

In this day and age when some blues rock artists are getting soft and fluffy on their third album, Eric has every chance with a solid Outperformed in black. Pearl. It's not as raw and evil as his first album, but the songs are good. I really wish he would show more of his masterful slide work. The sound quality is definitely better than on his second album where drums and bass are pushed too far into the background in my opinion. I think we have the legendary Eddie Kramer to thank for that, but

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • So so

Don't own his music though.

Saw Eric a year ago at Steve Vai's opening in New Orleans, every song sounded the same, too busy, too fast, you can play fast anywhere if you're clean : Steve Vai , Joe Satriani, otherwise you're going to have to stretch that a bit. More grades doesn't mean better, see Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Don't get me wrong, I love fast, love fast, but not every song in an hour, mix it up, show me something different. I'm a music lover so I may buy an album or two to compare to the live…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as written
