The disappointment is that there is no wedge shaped edge, the sponge is smaller in length and width and thickness than previously purchased Brillo Estracel sponges.

I have used a premium sponge for years. I've seen this one ranked higher by Consumer Reports for being easier to keep clean. Love it. It's softer and feels like the cells could be larger, making dirt and soap easier to remove. Lasts just as long as the ones I used. They claim their sponge is less likely to hold onto bacteria. Maybe. I still put it in the dishwasher or microwave.
