Need a CAN-BUS compatible circuit

This unit will wreak havoc on CAN-BUS trucks. My 2016 F150 goes nuts when it comes up with lots of lighting and trailer wiring errors. Relays click loudly. I quickly switched off and will be back. It is not compatible with CAN-BUS, which is very common on newer truck models. More details: The wiring is very short and not fully wired.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Working speed

Looks cool but is full of condensation

I bought this item after having it on my wish list for a while. Installs fairly easily, although some force is required to compress the rubber seal on initial installation. It works as advertised. But now after having it with me on my expedition for a few months, condensation has formed inside the lens and it won't go away. It ruins the day view. It looks like the other one, the Reese Towpower 86065 Licensed LED Hitch Light Cover with Ford Logo, could have a better design.

Great addition to any Chevy

I bought this as a Christmas present for my dad to replace another Chevy lighted fly boot. I bought it almost ten years ago, which unfortunately has expired. to the garage door. He has it on his Avalanche and it's working great. It lights up along with the brake lights. It uses a 4-pin trailer harness and fits both 1.25" and 2" receivers. A great addition to any Chevrolet, especially if the car is painted red or orange. I'm thinking of ordering one for my Impala.

Old packaging, nice lighting.

These headlights were better than I expected based on other people's reviews but the packaging they came in looked a bit dated. (don't know why) Firstly, they weren't fragile like I expected. I had to push quite hard to align the pin and compress/seal the rubber grommets and they didn't feel like they were going to break at all. They glow blue when the lights are on and turn red when braking. Looks very nice if you ask me! The only downside I could see is the lack of instructions, but it's…

very cool! in Outdoor Accessories

My son got this for my new Edge for Christmas and gave it to me a few weeks early. In these few weeks I have loved it and received compliments. Note that blue is illegal in Nebraska, but the cops haven't bothered me with it (not to mention they still won't). The red brake lights are very bright, so the person behind you cannot miss your braking. The downside was that my son (age 16) had an accident (pushing on ice) on the morning of Christmas Eve and my new Ford was in an accident. I'm not sure

All Plastic Blue Oval

When the light up hitch cover on my Ford Oval broke I was looking for a replacement. It's not what I want, but it's all I could find that wasn't twice the price and had the same issues. I still assume that the automatic car wash or the salt and slush from snow driving will crack this coating as well. However, it is a blue oval. The word Ford is not immediately visible, but it is present. The red brake light is very clear when it is on. All in all, a perfectly acceptable alternative. What I…

Great until it starts to fail. Or even?

A few days ago I was looking into the law on this. (Actually, the officer was very happy with everything and didn't even quote me.) After having it on my car for a full two months (maybe 2 1/2) and after driving around town with a significant police presence (available in other cops probably saw this thing on my car), I was pulled over and informed I couldn't have red flashing things on the back of my car. But it doesn't flash, was my answer, it only lights up when braking. So I went back with…

4th bought and will be buying more

I bought 4 of these and will buy more in the future if needed. I originally had one on my ranger but someone hit me from behind so I had to buy a second one for him. It's still on the ranger and works like the first day I got it. I bought a third one for my explorer. After stopping at my Lincoln (it was a light knock) the case broke and I had to buy a fourth one which still sits on the Explorer and works fine. red lights come on along with brake lights and emergency lights. This happens on both

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

Nice coverage, improves visibility

I've been using the Bully "Ford" LED Dome/Brake Light for about 2 years now and it works great for me. I drive an older model truck (late 60's) so the tail and brake lights are NOT the brightest you will ever see. I chose this light because I thought it would add some light and look cool when the taillights are on and make my brake lights more visible when I step on the brakes. The assembly was very easy and I was pleasantly surprised by the result. As a taillight, it doesn't really do much…
