Inexpensive not cheap

I've been wearing men's shirts to work in men's shops for 30 years. Everything gets more expensive over time. I've done more, I've spent more. Except for dinner on the cruise, I haven't needed a shirt for many moons for any reason. A good thing. So when the opportunity arose and the entire inventory was sent to the thrift store, I wanted it to last for two days or even three days at most. This shirt exceeds all my expectations. Fit is great. The fabric is great. The finish is excellent. Iโ€ฆ

Great shirt for Shirt

I ordered one to try and now I'm ordering more. For the price this is a great shirt. I'm a tall guy (6ft, 240lbs) and the concern that it's too short doesn't apply to the shirt I bought (17.5" neck, 34" sleeves). I have short legs and my height is in my torso. One problem I had with other shirts was that they weren't long enough to be tucked in properly. I haven't had this problem. I always wash my shirts and they hold up well even though they've only been washed 3 times. I will post an updateโ€ฆ

Torso too short

I'm quite tall and usually have problems with sleeves that are too short. The sleeve size and neck size was good, but it's barely long enough to be tucked in and won't stay tucked in.

TRY good for clothes

I love that I can buy a shirt with sleeves just the length I need. Overall quality seems good. My only complaint is that I wish the shirt had a more generous slit down the center (ok, I'm overweight). I have a couple of old Ralph Lauren shirts that are fuller, more comfortable, and look a little better. BUT if you're not overweight, try this shirt. I would be interested to see how this shirt looks after several machine washes. My wife just washed a shirt. She's a laundry specialist, so I knowโ€ฆ

The best deal for the money - especially if you're "big and tall "!

This is the shirt that Land's End makes - for all practical purposes - about 1/3rd cheaper than their price. The value is obvious if you are one of the larger sizes. When Revain makes the original Land's Park Hyde Park Oxford fabric, which is this shirt's bigger and better brother, there will be peace on earth forever. Incidentally, Land's End used to make shirts to order - technically "semi-custom". They went out of business when Sears took over. I bet Revane could move up a notch or two intoโ€ฆ

Impressed! suitable for men

I usually buy very nice Joseph Banks shirts for my husband but they are expensive! I thought I'd take a chance because he ruined two in two months. I was really amazed at first that they were his size - he's 6'4" and thinner so he needs an XLT with a 17 1/2 neck and 18" sleeves. It's impossible to find but here it is - then it got here and I was impressed that it was a really good shirt. Not buttery soft, $100 for the shirt I usually buy, but very decent quality, it fits perfectly and he lovedโ€ฆ

It's a $20 shirt, Gitman Bros. Nothing to worry about.

I bought my first Brooks Brothers OCBD in 1975. If you're a 'dinosaur' like me you've had hundreds of experiences buying men's shirts. Here's a little history for you young folks: Gant, Sero, Brooks Brorhers, Gitman Bros., Ben Silver, J. Press, O'Connells, Jos. A. Bank have all made or made good shirts over the years. I actually thought this shirt was Revains attempt to clone Joe Bank's $40 shirt. This is NOT a good shirt, poor quality material, stitching, button placket is already standard, aโ€ฆ

Much good, but a critical flaw for me

Material and stitching seem very good for the price. Shoulder, sleeve and neck measurements were good. I would like to, but it's too short. I think to return. Many of us who buy classic (i.e. non-fitted) 18.5 inch necklines have bellies and need a little more shirt length. I could hardly push it in.

Too narrow, not quite symmetrical - returned

This returned. I wear Brooks Brothers Madison clothes - I'm not one of those skinny models, I'm built more like a brick house - and despite the "classic" fit, they're clearly made for someone with a slimmer build than me. The sleeve and yoke sizes were correct but my chest and shoulders filled the shirt completely and even more. Didn't look right. Also, the left yoke was 1/2 inch longer than the right yoke, which I felt was visible and slightly out of spec. But I've been very happy withโ€ฆ
