Hard foam: neck and neck pillow

My face hurts. Cannot be used on my bed as the side vents are blocked and I can't breathe. But slightly better after additional installation of cushions

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • It's ok

Great concept - terribly uncomfortable on the face!

Product gets 5 stars for concept and 1 star for ease of use. The foam is so hard that it is VERY uncomfortable to put pressure on your cheekbones and face. Perhaps the manufacturer will suggest a solution?

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Poorly designed

I really wanted to like it.

Despite all the "it's too complicated" comments. But the reviews are correct. It is too hard. It is not possible to put your head on this pillow where you can lie comfortably for more than a few minutes. Too bad the hole isn't in the shape of a face. Damn.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Perfect for at-home massage, therapy, or sleeping on your face!

I have used this item in my spine therapy and it is amazing. You can sleep on it, but it's not a pillow, so it won't feel good for hours. But a neck massage and a short face-down nap works amazingly well. It is well made and durable. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • There is something to it
Cons
  • Appearance

Nothing like that

I know it's a lot of money for a "pillow" but my husband has a broken neck so he can't lie face down to massage his back . On this device he can rest. There's even room for his tracheostomy tube. It's easy to clean. Nothing else I've found supports the front of your chest so your neck doesn't have to be twisted while still keeping your entire face off the ground to really relax and breathe.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Nothing

I liked it so much that I came home and ordered.

I started physical therapy and they put me on this pillow. I liked it so much that I came home and ordered it (the technician gave me the ordering information). My order arrived earlier than expected. However, my home pillow seems to be much stiffer than the one I use for PE. Maybe he'll feel better after working longer. In general I'm happy. I can maintain the correct position I need and still breathe.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Obsolete

Excellent hold, very dense foam.

Used to recover from eye surgery as I had to sleep face down. I had to modify the Pron-Pillo with an inexpensive travel neck pillow (like a horseshoe) to cushion the headrest. Otherwise, I felt almost bruised on my cheekbones by the hardness of the foam. It works really well as a support though, making it a lot easier to get through the night with it than without. Overall I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I'm worried

Don't waste money. difficult to use.

This pillow is very hard and uncomfortable. It's also non-refundable, so don't waste your money. It is so complicated that it cannot be used. also with many attempts to overlay and add additional padding. The material is very uncomfortable on the skin and makes the skin and face hurt after just a few minutes. I feel awful, my elderly grandmother spent her fixed income money on this 'pillow' after her eye surgery. She would rather sleep in a sitting chair than use it.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Protection

Works well but very harsh and digs into the cheekbones.

I'm a massage therapist and I REALLY wanted to love this product, but it's SO HARD on my face! My clients can't even lie face down for 2 minutes before complaining of cheek pain. I ended up pairing it with two lambswool face covers and bought a silicone pad to place on top. After three layers of padding everything is perfect. I really like that clients can lie face down on the mat, it's better than any other solution but still not perfect. The secret to making this more comfortable is to move…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
