My 1996 Yukon failed due to the top brake light not working. It was $90 at dealerships and my son found it at Revain after selling it for only $25. So I tried it and it worked great. Thanks Revin

The product is very good. However, it will not fit my 1998 Blazer unless you remove the tubes where the screws are located. If you see my photo, the original part (the one below) doesn't have those long tubes for the bolts. Once removed, you can easily install.

First of all this is not for the 2000 S10 Blazer as advertised. I think it fits a full size blazer too. The posts had to be cut, the tabs had to be cut and the rubber grommet was the wrong size and the heat shrink tubing used to protect the cable was on the wrong side otherwise it works after the change.

I had to make some modifications to the lantern in order for it to install correctly. I had to cut off 4 protrusions, two on each bolt hole, and shave both shanks of the bolt in the light to allow it to seat on the mating surface. The sleeve on the wires was too small so I had to cut the wires and use the old sleeve, then solder and shrink the wires into heat shrink tubing. On a positive note, both pigtails are designed for different applications.

Installing a third stop light on a 1999 Suburban is very simple. As the description says, it corresponds to the years indicated. Not sure about durability as I just put it on. It comes with a gasket and both pigtails that you need to connect. Simply remove the decorative strip on the back to access the cables. A gasket and pigtail connector have been added face down. (2) included. Put new gaskets on the screws and tighten them. It took 15 minutes.
