Coleman Cable 09019 W-Splitter: Efficient 1-to-3 Outlet Extending Adapter - 2-Foot Review

This sliver was so thick I had to send it back. If I could use it I would keep it, but I couldn't use it for what I needed it for. I ended up buying another brand.

Used in my travel bag for extra power outlets for computer, cell phone etc at airports, Starbucks etc. Heavy and not very flexible so not easy to store in travel bag but it works. Probably too durable and weather resistant for my purposes, but that's ok.

Suitable for use as a heavy duty 12/3 gauge 3 way spacer. 2 way splitters are also good from Coleman. SUPER durable! REAL wire 12awg. Good heavy outer insulation. I like the split output side versus a single molded outlet with 3 plugs because large plugs or power adapters don't occupy 2 outlets. There are cheaper ones but not forked ones (that I could find). And in the past I've bought another 12AWG splitter that needed a replacement connector, only to find that the 14AWG was more accurate than the 12AWG.

Been to two big stores and couldn't find anything that compares. The guy on the floor said yes, I remember that. Haven't seen it for a long time, searching the internet helped. Easy to find, great quality, great price. This is going to take a long, long time. Much better than power strips. Especially if you use big plugs, chargers, timers, speed controllers. I bought it in 2014. Worked great but now I'm noticing sparking and loud noise when plugged into my boat charger AND my boat chargers aren't working. The black ends of this Y-cable are defective and do not work. I had to switch to 2 separate high quality cable ends and everything works great. I ask if there is a guarantee for this product? Can I replace 3 outlets with a higher quality 120 volt outlet to improve connectivity?

Excellent power distributor for use at home or on site. A bit pricey, but for a quality product that will stand up to everyday use, it's worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a few extra outlets so you don't have to constantly plug and unplug tools, lights or appliances. I have this. The monster as well as the yellow jacket glowed 2 feet with the lighted power supply. Both models are of the same quality, which is not surprising since the Yellow Jacket is made by Coleman. I also have a couple of Coleman jumper cables from my used car days and they are amazing quality too. I had to send the first cable back. The connection to one of the pigtails failed due to a manufacturing defect in the cable? Why or how did it come to ME behind the door? I asked them to send me a replacement and sent one back which was unusable! Ruined the hike but we made do with what we had. Note that this has been a constant quality control issue here lately. Just a note! The new cable is good, all extensions work as they should!
