In general, the quality seems decent. Probably great for the price. However, when I opened it up and looked at it, it just looks cheap, like plastic. It looks that way because the pattern is embossed and not embroidered. As a result, we bought another, sewn one. We paid a little more for it, but we're very glad we did. It was worth the extra cost. I took a photo and compared this (left) with the sewn one (right).

I bought this comforter for our king size bed in California. I like the color but it's darker than I thought. It fits perfectly on the bed, draped on each side of the bed and I love the large pillowcases that come with it. It's not super soft, but I like the texture. It's very, very thin. LOVE this bedspread. I love being in South Texas but I like to set the thermostats to 70 degrees at night when I sleep with 3 heating pads for my joint pains. I also put on two fans which is not the best situation for my husband who hates thick blankets but also doesn't want to be cold. love it! I bought it because of its popularity. I was expecting a diamond pattern, but instead it's a beautiful pattern that seems to glow where the seams would be in a duvet when light shines on it. In the picture it looks like a lilac purple color but in fact it is a beautiful maroon color. I took a photo to show the details.
