No internal adjustable waist!

The shorts are too big in the waist and my 8 year old daughter is of normal weight and height. This isn't usually a problem as there is an internal adjustable waist, but for some reason these shorts don't have it. So go back. Why did they remove this feature? As in the past, the silver-trimmed shorts featured an adjustable waist. In fact, it has become the industry standard for burst babies, booster seats, etc.

I'm in love with these! I actually bought 5 pairs. A little bit of each color! My son has special needs and I love that the elastic goes on the front of the pants and the elastic only goes on the back. He can't close them himself yet because of the stretch film, he can pull them up and down (not as easy as full stretch, but still!). I love that they aren't TOO long like short boards.
