Excellent soap dish, good for the sauna

Excellent soap dish. The entire part of the "plate" and the metal backing to which the plate is attached are peeled off the plastic part glued to the wall for cleaning.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Looks good, works great

I followed the instructions exactly. Wipe the area thoroughly with alcohol. I applied the stripes according to the instructions. I put it up and left it there for 24 hours (taking a shower) before putting up a real "shelf". I've had it for about 2 weeks. No complaints. Looks good, works great.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

No separate mounting base

There are two different models of this plastic soap dish and they look the same. One holds up to 3 pounds and the other up to 2 pounds. The two packs I bought are the 2 pound version. There's no separate mounting base with them - you get a plastic panel and two command bars that you attach to the back of the panel and then to the wall. I haven't had them long enough to appreciate their durability, but these implements can't be taken off the wall to clean unless you remove the command strips.

Great for bar soaps or shampoo bars

I have these 2 packs of soap boxes for storing the shampoo and conditioner bars. I don't use bar soap, but of course you can. The dishes are slightly tilted backwards and there is a drainage hole so that water does not accumulate in the dishes and does not get dirty. The bars can drip and dry which was the main thing I was looking for. They're big enough to fit fairly large bars and I'm sure you could fit other things in like a face wash bottle or something. them too, although I don't think…

Very happy with this product as I have 5! A review should let people know that it also didn't stick to the surfaces I've used it on. I followed the directions (but may have missed something important) and found that it didn't stick to the ceramic shower tiles at all and only temporarily stuck to the stainless steel sink. So when these crashes were happening, I pulled out my bag with all the different command hooks I have; I found the largest standard command hook stickers and used those…

The soap dish broke and the 3rd team got stuck on the wall.

I've had it for a few days. The sticky part of the team stuck to the wall perfectly. But the part that holds the soap dish on the back has a plastic clip that is broken. Also, the soap dish is very shallow and I hated it. Soap can slide off the holder onto the shower floor. Under the soap I use a soap pad sold by SOAPLIFT. I would say a soap lift is almost a must to keep the soap from getting wet in the shower. Anyway, now I've installed and am using a wall mounted shower soap dish holder…

Benefit from it and save time, money and nerves - it works.

I bought two different brands of this type of soap dish for me and my wife. The ones I bought from a reputable and very reliable company, held in place by a suction cup. He fell off the wall at least 2 times for no apparent reason. This 3M Command Stripes soap bar has lasted great for at least 7 months! So I bought another Command Strip soap holder to replace the suction cup fiasco. So far the new holder works just as well as the old one! We place our soap in a resealable soap container and…

More than just a soap dish but it's all good

Brand Command I love you and this purchase was no different. The townhouse I live/rent in needs love and style and this soap dish really helps keep the bar of soap out of the hard water. Hasn't fallen yet πŸ™ƒ and I doubt it will in the near future (knock on wood if I'm jinxed writing a review). I also have a Command towel rail in one bathroom as the owners didn't think one was needed in the second bathroom (strange) but the Command brand saved me. So when I move I can tidy it up so it's exactly…

Amazing line of bathroom accessories!

I received the Command slip on bath mug and was so thrilled that I looked elsewhere and found this soap dish. So happy! I love it! Very easy to apply with simple Command brand double sided adhesives which are also removable which I love! The satin nickel set goes well with the rest of the satin nickel sanitary ware. I put these in my shower to replace the ugly plastic soap dish I had on my shelf. Not only does it look way better than the cheap plastic I had, but it also frees up a lot of space…

  • Durable finish
