No instructions!: Forward Controls

I opened the box and saw many nicely made parts but no installation instructions. If the seller or manufacturer would provide a link to install it that would be very helpful.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • So-so

Get what you pay for

Easy to install if you don't need instructions. Both blanks are shorter than I would like, but they work as long as you do the opposite of what is shown in the picture.

Pros
  • Parts
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Great price, great product

Lots of negative reviews. Not sure why they are great for the price, comes with all hardware. There are no instructions, but everything is very simple. It will not fit stock exhausts on sports cars, so get different pipes or don't install front steering. simply.

Pros
  • Control Pedals
Cons
  • Was damaged

They fit perfectly on my 2001 Sportster.

They fit my 2001 Sportster perfectly. However, there were no directions. Even the online ones were close, but wrong. It took about 7 hours to figure out what went where and how to put it on. Now that they are, I'm happy with them.

Pros
  • Motorcycle and Drive Trains
Cons
  • Non Automatic Transmission

Not what I expected.

As the saying goes: you get what you pay for. The brake side is too short and I have problems breaking it because my standard air filter sticks out too far. Or are the controls too short? They are chrome plated and look great, but functionally they are useless. I have a 92 1200 Sporti. Save money and shop elsewhere.

Pros
  • Forward Management
Cons
  • There are nuances

No instructions, pictures from the back of the display

Decent set of front controls. I think it's good value for money. All aluminum. There are no instructions in the kit and after contacting the seller they send instructions for a TC Bros Forward Control Kit which is similar but not the same. All threaded bolt holes were not cleaned after powder coating, so threading the threads into the fasteners was a little tricky, but not impossible. Looking at the first image in the ad, the right controller appears to be screwed into a flat mounting bracket…

Pros
  • Controls
Cons
  • Replacement availability
