The best socket! The best tire repair tools

This head saves lives. My Toyota came with crappy 21mm nuts (2) that swelled over time. I couldn't move them away from the standard 21mm. This tool makes it easy to remove them.

Pros
  • Try for a year
Cons
  • Almost never

Each mechanic needs 1/2 size. Big buy

All should be 1/2 size in this range of sockets. When removing wheels you need 1/2" sizes, it's easy and saves time. No more throwing sockets on the floor or hitting them with a hammer and fist.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Worked with swollen nuts.

It worked great! Last time I changed the tires on my RX they were nuts that hurt as many of them were swollen. I ordered this before I had to spin again. It was easy this time, because anything that didn't fit in 21 fit perfectly in 21.5.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great for a fast lane or for greasing

I'm a Ford technician and this is perfect for those swollen nuts! If it doesn't fit and it's your car, buy new tips and take your car to the dealer to have them replaced. Clogging a socket for a simple spin sucks, so do everyone a favor and swap nuts!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

Absolutely the tool I needed

I ordered this after watching a video on how to remove swollen nuts on my 90,000 year expedition. Using a short 1/2" extension and a hammer, I gently tapped the 21.5mm side of each swollen nut, removing them one at a time and replacing the 21mm side with a solid metal nut. Excellent. solution to my problem!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Your 21mm nuts are swelling and you need this very useful 21.5mm tool

worth every penny! Most vehicle manufacturers drive the nut all the way in to save money. Then they put on a thin metal cap for decoration. These caps then swell and are almost impossible to remove from the factory supplied 21mm nut in a flat tyre. , or when you work with vehicles, you will feel pain. Use 21.5 to solve this annoying problem! works perfectly! I have used this product hundreds of times and have no problems! If a replacement is needed I will buy it again!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Contact seller

This works great: Tools and equipment

I bought 21/21.5mm and 22/22.5mm heads at the same time. Like many modern cars, both my wife and my own F150 had terribly swollen nuts. The 21.5mm end of this socket easily fits the flared nuts on my truck. Based on my experience with my wife's truck, I would recommend buying a 22/22.5mm head at the same time. Your truck has almost four times the miles as mine, so its nuts take a lot more wear from my impact wrenches. The ring nuts were so swollen that I had to hammer 21.5's in on some of them,

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not sure

The best tool you'll hopefully never need.

Best tool hopefully you never have to use it. Sometimes things happen. Thus, this tool is a lifeline for what is needed. In my case, I changed tires a few weeks ago, but I changed some sway bar connections myself, and when I got to this particular wheel, I couldn't get the lug loose. Lo and behold, adjectives aside, I weighed in and gave the same tire shop a hundred dollars to remove a lip they probably damaged or bought this tool and waited 4 days to fix my problem. Well, as I write this…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity
