Expensive coating

I've used this to clean battery terminals and it seems to leave a protective coating. I have no idea how well it works but judging by the look of the finish after application I suspect it's a decent product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Compatibility

The package arrived on time with no external damage to the box. Inside the jar is a shrink bag sealed and the indie lid of the jar has been unscrewed and inside the shrink bag there is a lot of content, not a little, a lot. I'm not sure if going back to the Amazon is eco-friendly. Eventually cut it up and used a car backup battery. The rest ends up in landfill. Looks like a great product just a little too big in the packaging.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Always, always, always use

. Every previous cable has the tip corroded to the breaking point. If the grommets weren't corroded, the cables would get hot enough to stick out. I read positive reviews about DeoxIT and tried it when changing cables. I had no corrosion or swelling. The battery pins stay absolutely clean and I feel my batteries charge more efficiently with this paste. I covered the grommets and pins well - maybe a little too much - but wanted to be sure. I've used several cans of aerosol cleaner in the past…

Pros
  • . Easy to use.
Cons
  • . Slightly torn.

Everything seems to be as good as everyone says, thanks to Caig deoxit.

After a year of barely using my car and finding it dead when I REALLY used it. I noticed that the negative terminal and the connection are heavily oxidized and I was wondering if it ever worked. The generator is having trouble recharging because of all that crap. Since there was no one to give the car to for such things, I decided to do it myself. It was my fault. 2 years with built-in battery. back I stood right there and watched him tidy up the positive post and before I could say anything he

Quality product and more protection than terminal spray

If you service batteries - which everyone does these days - you should have a can of this stuff on hand and use it when checking the batteries. Splash protection is good and quick, but it allows for too much corrosion, especially under the wire's plastic coating. You cannot see the amount of corrosion developing under the wire jacket. As you move the cables you will see white chalk crystals fall from the cable jacket where the crimp connects the heavy gauge copper wire to the copper/alloy…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
