You really need to be careful that the buckle area of your shirt and tie isn't too thick as this clip is designed for a secure fit so your tie stays in place and the clip doesn't get lost. This is not functional at all. And the metal looks cheap. I understand that you can't expect much at this price point, but they shouldn't be wasting people's time or even selling them.

Your product photos are MEDIUM. Look at my photos, real ones. You will find: 1) There is not even 1mm of space for the tie to "slip" and it is very hard for you to pull back the clip to slide the tie in. The only way to get a tie into the clip is to pull the tie fabric STRONGLY through the clip, damaging the tie at the point of entry. 2) The texture of the silver is textured, not smooth.
