Beard Oil provides adequate moisture but if you are looking for an oil with a more aromatic scent this is not it. The smell is very very faint, I like it when the oil has a more pronounced but not overpowering smell. Overall it's a solid product, a bit shiny and I've managed to keep my beard smooth and soft. Can't argue with the quantity for the price, I would have liked a stronger flavor.

I wasn't told to write this review and I don't work at a grooming store in Detroit. But I wanted to tell everyone that this is the BEST overnight spell in oil. Very, very, very moisturizing, Belle Isle smells like relaxing lemon tea with essential oils. I apply this before bed and my beard is so soft. I really love this stuff!

After seeing a bearded brother praising this stuff on his YouTube channel, I decided it was worth a try and ordered a glass of Belle Isle. I was looking (more for a woody or old-fashioned barbershop smell) but this was the scent I liked when I discovered it. It's a light, refreshing citrus scent that's not overpowering but stays lightly scented throughout the day. This beard oil really shines which it did for my beard. DGC is advertised as one of the most important beard care products. The oil is also versatile as it can be used on cuts, burns, hair and even as a body oil if you have it. My only thoughts on this were that I would like a more vibrant lavender scent. There seems to be more sweet orange and lavender here, but that's too subtle for me. Also, I would buy again in a heartbeat!
