They're a bit fiddly to put on, but once you get the hang of them, they really are great value for your ass, uh, idiot. You start at the rim with the plastic ring under the seat, then thread the rim without the ring through the hole and pull it around the rims. Should sit nice and neat. It took me a few tries and a lot of looking at the pictures to get it right, but once you get that "ah-ha!" moment, it's easy. This item is very poorly designed Reasons: 1. Comes with a plastic ring instead of a rubber band. The plastic ring is sealed in the fabric. To resize the cover or remove the ring, you need to cut the fabric. But that causes such a mess in the linen because the fabric unwinds (it's a knit weave).2.
