Done right the first time

Well damn I was spot on without using that. Who would have thought that the sensor on the turntable would be SO accurate. But without this apparatus I would never have found out. It works great and is an essential tool to keep your turntable and vinyl in good condition. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • *High quality stainless steel scale packaged in a premium leather case for ultimate protection. Supplied with a calibration weight and two button cell batteries.
Cons
  • Weak Set

This digital scale allows you to easily balance your turntable's tonearm and ensure your records are loaded with the correct weight. Too much weight can damage your records (and stylus), and too little weight can seriously affect sound quality. This scale makes it easy to get it right.

Pros
  • *Digital blue LCD backlight for easy reading.
Cons
  • Expensive

Inexpensive, indispensable tool.

This little device replaces my 40 year old Shure SFG-2 probe. Shure is an old-school rocking scale with a small slider that shows the reference weight. However, it is more difficult to use and not as accurate as this instrument. I was concerned when I opened the packaging because the sensor is very light. However, it does come with a calibration weight and basic instructions, as well as a storage case. half a century: You need a dipstick. The "built-in" of many turntables are extremely…

Precise Scale for Electronic Music DJ and Karaoke

I used this to calibrate the arm weight on a Pro-Ject Evo. The tonearm is handmade/carbon fiber so I felt the weight could be a bit lighter and a difference of 0.70g using this scale. It showed 2.7g. Personally, I feel great when my musical material is properly tuned and I don't have to take the guesswork out when the technology is for us. I highly recommend this scale.

Pros
  • * Non-magnetic, help you adjust the stylus thickness of your turntable, cartridge and keep the good performance of the recording device. Suitable for MM/MC/MI and piezoelectric cartridges.
Cons
  • No Instructions
