Good doorstop

Oiled interior doors, creaked. Then 3 of them do not remain open. These doorstops are heavy enough to hold doors open without being too big. Because they are cast iron. Also, they will never change, need repainting, or look old. I've since found a way to fix my doors. But hold the doorstop as they look great.

  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Confused

Excited until we screwed the knob.

Crooked grip hole. We didn't want to go through the return process so we just kept it. Buyer I think beware. It can still be moved easily and holds every door perfectly. We bought it for the handle, maybe other doorstop manufacturers should do that. Without the pen it would have been 5 stars. Cast iron workmanship is good.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I wish the stick was longer

The picture is wrong. It would be nice if the dog was bigger, but then of course it would be too heavy to move and would cost so much that I wouldn't order it. But the handle could be a little longer to make it easier for my elderly parents to move around without carrying. But they get compliments from almost everyone who sees them because the pooch is so cute and it's really handy to have a handle so you don't have to bend down to move it.

Tips too easy

I bought this and a second doorstop, a faucet with the same handle, to hold closet doors open. This was almost the only type of doorstop that could work, as the doors are so tall the doorstops must be at least a foot high. This one is cute and could work for a light interior door. But I found I had to position it precisely to keep it upright, and sometimes the weight of the door would pinch it anyway. I didn't have this problem with the tail, which is almost a pound heavier and has a larger…
