Fits perfectly and works the first time!

Replaced the right rear backup light connector on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it worked great! The same connector is suitable for the rear light! Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Good quality. for rear light assembly

I had to bend the connecting straps on the new sockets. It has nothing to do with the sockets, rather the taillights have gotten so hot over the years that the plastic has sunk making a good connection difficult. Keep this in mind when installing them. I also sanded down the connectors that the tabs were in contact with.

  • price
Cons

2001 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Replacement Socket

Bought a pair of these while waiting for another socket. I replaced both boards with Dorman boards for this jeep but the sockets are finally starting to fail as well. If you experience intermittent lightbulb blowouts that these Jeeps are notorious for, replace the circuit boards first. Then proceed to replacing the bushings.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Dorman 923-034 Tail Light Socket

Installed on my 01 JGC Limited. My sockets that I replaced them with were doing all sorts of oddities. I would fix the rear left taillight, the brakes would make it light up, but not for the daytime running lights. Then the right side does, but not the left. I bought a flash relay for hyper issues but it wasn't that. I replaced the top two connectors with these and the problem is gone! I am very satisfied with the quick and cheap repair, which is rare for a Jeep.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Replace Socket Prevents you from getting a fine

There was an issue with the '06 Jeep Liberty Sport that caused the rear left brake light to not work during. After ordering this part I saw that the tabs on the old socket that were in contact with the taillight assembly were pressed slightly causing the socket to be lost. After I fitted the new part it was much tighter, had no problems with it so rather buy it for €4 than get stopped and fined.

2005 Jeep Liberty Driver's Side Turn Signal Lights

My mother's 2005 Jeep turn signal lights kept stopping, they kept changing the bulb until someone told them to check the wiring etc. They needed the part ASAP and the autozone should have ordered it for about 3 times the price. I honestly had no idea what part they wanted or wanted, I just put in the turn signal on the driver's side of a 2005 Jeep Liberty, it popped up, looks like she already had the part (laughs, I know we're very exactly ) Nevertheless I ordered it, good price, arrived when…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Only available in black

and it was almost perfect. My next step was to take it.

My 1999 Chrysler T&C LXi had intermittent taillight problems. Sometimes the brake, reverse and/or turn signals do not work, sometimes they do. I swapped lenses and bulbs. I sprayed oil on my stock bushings and it was almost perfect. My next step was to take it to the shop to have the wiring harness replaced, but the comments here about the Revain made me try the sockets. These Dorman jacks appear to be identical to the originals except for the logo. I bought 4 sockets for my 6 lights to replace

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

They looked right when I unpacked them. However, after removing the lenses, the original turn signal connector had a metal terminal on each side, just like the auto parts store replacement, but this one had two on one side and one on the other. The new bulbs fit perfectly in the two old sockets (OEM and auto parts version) but do not fit in any of the 5 I ordered. Since lightbulbs don't fit, I'm not sure how they would work in any of them. other cars are like turn signals in that they don't…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some imperfections
