I bought this at the start of the pandemic because we were all so desperate to wash our hands they were drying out. Unfortunately, that harsh, non-lathering soap didn't help. After we got through most of the first bar I gave up and went back to our old Michel Design Works hand soap but I topped it off with La Mer hand serum and hand cream and it was fine and any dryness healed overnight with products from La Mer. We used the leftover Dove soap by filling the bar in a small Pyrex bowl with water

I've always loved Dove Face Wash. I've tried makeup removers, scrubs, blah blah blah, but I've always found that using a regular bar of soap does the job. Pink is my favorite (pink). I always buy a pack of 6 and it lasts around 6-8 months. Again, I don't wear that much makeup and the soap is only for washing my face. In general, it's great when your skin is soft and hydrated.

This product does not wash off well in my opinion. This left a waxy film on my skin and shower that was rough to the touch and difficult to remove from the shower. I think there is too much fat left in Dove. Although they all smell good. I tried it in hand wash basins and the same thing happened with the film on the sinks.

Dove is by far one of the best products I have ever used. About 10 years ago my DOCTOR told me to use Dove (non-medical). As far as I know, Dove contains non-soap cleaning products. I have sensitive skin and Dove leaves my skin very soft and never irritates. I used to buy shower gel (which I still love) but bars are cheaper.
