This is a very good value feather pillow insert. I really don't understand some of the other reviews about these pillows being super flat. Yes they come vacuum packed so when you open them they are very flat but all I had to do was put them in the dryer with a tennis ball for 5-10 minutes and they came out super fluffy and Fit perfectly in my pillowcases.

I went back and forth on what pillow size other than my 18x18 pillowcase. I went ahead and bought an 18x18 pillow. It fits, but it's a bit flatter than I would have liked. This should work as I will only be using them for decoration, but if I were to actually use them I would try the next size up for completeness. They are very soft, but almost too soft, and why are they getting flat.

I have recently ordered another brand of larger down pillows from Revain and am completely satisfied, I did not expect them to be as good as these. But they are! The best thing you can do when you get them is open the bag and toss them in the dryer along with drying balls (or tennis balls, or even clean sneakers) and a damp washcloth. Run the dryer normally for about 10 minutes and they'll come out so puffy you'll be amazed!

that these pillows are worth NO doubt! Terrible reviews about the smell and washing are all true. When I first got them my boyfriend thought they smelled like sport pinnies from our childhood. I tried washing them as per the label and they smelled MUCH WORSE! Not to mention the smell filled our entire apartment and the dryer continued to smell like it for a few days even after we cleaned the lint filter and air duct. WASTE OF MONEY!

My first thought when I bought these pillows was that there wouldn't be that many feathers in the pillows, not only that but the smell is exceptional but my pillowcases block the smell So that's a plus and to plump pillows you have to constantly fiddle with them like you're trying to inflate them yourself and as far as the size is perfect when buying a pillow make sure it's the same size as Your pillowcase has. because then you have two different sizes. I bought this to fill a 21x21 inch duvet cover and bought a 20x20 pillow insert and it fits perfectly. I received the air-sucked pillow and after fluffing it up, the top didn't sag at all even though I had it set up all day for several days.
