Dr. Martens Maccy Mary Jane Shoes (Little Kid/Big Kid) Review

I bought these for my 11 year old girl who wanted platform Mary Janes but has small feet and is not yet fit into women's sizes. They are impossible to find in a cold size. She loves these shoes and was thrilled when she saw them. They're not a platform, but with thick souls, they satisfy. They went well with her Alice in Wonderland costume. She wore them around town for several hours while we were out hunting and never complained of any pain. All in all it was a really good buy.

These shoes look great with my daughter's school uniform. They are comfortable and durable. Bought 2 pairs, one for a 6 year old and another for an 8 year old, both my daughters love them.

Bought these for my 4 year old. They are adorable and look the same as they did a few months ago. Velcro holds up great. She can wear them. She is a size 11 which is what I ordered and they have enough room to grow without being too big.

Don't waste your money and buy cheap kids shoes for schools that need dress shoes. I made that mistake and will never make it again. It costs money, in Dr. Marten for your children. They last forever. I just wish they wouldn't stop releasing the double buckle style. These were enough for my daughter for almost two whole school years.

I bought this in August 2015. They were a bit too big so my daughter wore them with the insoles removed as her feet grew. We live twenty minutes walk from the school. She told me last week that there was a small hole in one of the shoes. The soles still feel very thick and maybe the puncture could have been fixed but instead I bought the next size up. My daughter is a size 3 and the eu34 fits like a glove. These shoes are a parent's dream, sturdy, sensible and don't wear out, they grow out! As for my daughter, she loves them, they're trending and a lot of her friends have been asking where we got them. Excellent purchase.

These shoes look great and are well made. These are my daughters school shoes. The strap stays put and the sole is durable. I will buy it again

My daughter has had them for about a year now and they still look pretty new. Much better than any Clarks shoes we've bought. I just bought my next school shoe in DC.

I just received the shoes a few minutes ago and let my daughter try them on. The first review is delightfully sweet. She says it's handy, but she only tested it for a few minutes. I will update this review over time. 😁

Great shoes. I bought them because they looked durable. Just what I needed for my daughter who has changed 4 pairs of shoes since September (the last pair lasted a week before the strap came loose!). A month in them and they look like new and are very comfortable (according to my daughter). Several other moms have asked me where they are from, they look so durable and cute too! You will not be disappointed.

A little big but if I had a smaller size they would be too small, I think it's right between sizes. I'll buy her some insoles, maybe it will help, but other than that they're great shoes and she likes them. X

Due to the width of this shoe, they are a bit big, but the insole is ok. They look like durable shoes perfect for school. That's my feedback.

This shoe runs very large. My daughter is a true 13 and I bought a US size 13 but this shoe is too big. I can stick two fingers in my back even with a thick sock. Just pay attention to the sizes. Otherwise LOVE the shoes.

Bought for my 9 year old daughter so she can go back to school. She specifically asked for a patent and Velcro fasteners. They fit very well and look great. She says they're very comfortable so we're both happy. would recommend.

I love martens and when I stumbled across them I was ecstatic. She loved them too and has since chosen two more! They are durable and stylish. They are comfortable and highly adjustable as the strap adjusts its length along the entire length.

My daughter changes shoes within a few months (about 4 months), she has been known to wear down the back of the sole. Adorable, the sole is chunky, comfortable and durable and worth every penny. They are used every day as part of their uniform. I enlarged the socks and bought her thicker/fluffier socks. Shop with confidence, the quality is the best.

Also withstands coarse children's clothing. Reasonable price for long-term wearing. I ordered a size up to accommodate height and she wears thick socks and the strap can be tight to hold her.

i have dr Worn Martens in the 90's when they were very popular and I'm so glad my kids can enjoy them as much as I do. So far my LO hasn't mentioned in any way that her feet hurt, which is unusual given her wide foot. Anyone who's had a partner knows they can take a beating. Worth the money because they outgrow them before they wear out! I will order more
