These are great boots for those who have a young child who plays soccer. I'd say that a kid over 7 or 8 years old will probably tear them apart quicker than they'd like, but that doesn't mean they're bad. We bought these boots for the spring football season and made them slightly larger so he can wear them during the fall game as well (he is 4 years old). They fit as expected, no problems whatsoever.
