I first installed this on my dining room table who did it on a strip of hard floor surrounded by carpet. I tried using the sweep and mop feature and it only wiped a tiny area around the base station. I understand that the company doesn't want the mop to drag across the carpet, but that's a serious problem...it can't reach areas when mopping that don't have a clear path on the floor without a carpet.
